Today I was lucky enough to get to hang out with Melissa & Will. I had an super awesome time getting to know them. We had a very relaxed shoot and at one point, we managed to get locked in at a winery (always fun). They are getting married in Napa this July and I absolutely cannot wait for their wedding!!!
At one point the topic of conversation changed to my kitties (happens often). So, I figured it would only be appropriate to share a photo of the smallest jungle beast in the world. Meet Maya:
Alright, so I just gave my website a seemingly minor (but much needed) update. I have recently conquered red and green, so I figured it was blue's turn. I added a new slideshow setup that is going to rule once I iron things out. I only have two test slideshows up now, but many more will be on there way. I changed the front page and home page images, because Kristin & Thomas melted my soul with their awesomeness (don't know what that means, but it sounds cool). And finally, I shot a new picture of myself for the about page while i was vegging (sp? veging, veg-ing, is it even a real word?) out in front of my monitor. Let me know what you think! Are you freaking kidding me!??!?! I don't know if it is possible for Kristin and Thomas to have planned a more perfect wedding! Kristin doesn't mess around when it comes to putting together an AMAZING event. Every little detail spoke of the insane amount of work and love that they poured into their wedding. Swallow Creek Ranch in Cayucos has always been a favorite location of mine, and I was so excited to find out that they chose it! The first few dances were set to some amazing musical performances by different family members; it was beautiful. My favorite part of it all was how amazingly awesome Kristin & Thomas were. They had so much fun and played along with all of my crazy ideas. I'm including a few more photos in this post then normal, and trust me, I had the hardest time narrowing it down. I am once again humbled and honored that I get invited to participate in something this great. Oh Yeah, how amazing are Kristin's boots?!?!

I'm fairly certain that I've mentioned having the coolest job ever... Well, I go ahead and say it again. I had the great fortune of not only meeting Patrick & Sirilak, but I was allowed to experience an intimate and incredibly beautiful day in their lives. This was the second of two ceremonies, the first being in Thailand. They came over from Hawaii to share this day with their amazing (and talented!) families. Not only was Sirilak extremely beautiful, but she was also kind enough to teach me to speak a little bit of Thai too. So if I am ever lucky enough to end up over there one day, I'm impress the socks of the locals with all three phrases that I managed to retain.
