Scott & Erin - Cambria

Friday wedding + Rain + Scott & Erin = A whole lot of awesome!  I'm not 100% that actually makes any sense but I stand by it anyways.  I had to wake up extra early for this afternoon wedding and boy was it worth it!  I spoke with erin a couple of days before and we both a had a mutual excitement for the impending rain.  How much fun!  At one point during the day, as the clouds began to break and the sun started peaking out, I could see dissapointment in Erin's face.  How amazing is that??  Most people dread the thought of rain on their wedding day,  but Scott & Erin totally embraced it!  You get what you get, and you can either love it or hate it.  I am pleased to report that this couple loved every minute of the whole day!  So much Joy... So much Love...  I am a very, very, blessed person to be around this all of the time!!

Okay, so I've been shooting billions of pictures lately and I'm going to start posting here much more frequently.  Here are a couple shots from two more engagement shoots I did this week.  I have a wedding and 3 three more engagements before the weeks end.  I'm LOVING meeting and hanging out with all of my couples!!  I am soooooo excited for all of these upcoming weddings.  This year I'm going to party like it's 1699.  And now:

Engagements Galore!

I spent a good part of this week getting to know a handful of amazing couples.  I shot 5 engagement sessions in six days and had the most incredible time!  Each of these couples will be getting married in the coming months and I have always encouraged an engagement shoot to help develop our relationship before the big day.  Otherwise, I become this creepy guy following everyone around, peeking around doorways, hiding in bushes, etc.   You can be sure, that I'll be writing about each of these couples and their weddings as they happen.  But for now,  a little introduction seems proper:

Brent & Brittany - Paso Robles

bb1.jpg

This past Saturday,  I was blessed to witness Brent & Brittany enter into marriage!  They couldn't have chosen a more beautiful day.  I first met Brittany about 10 years ago, and I was soooooo excited that she asked me to be a part of everything.  I loved watching the two of them before the ceremony,  Brittany could barely contain her excitement!  Brent's love for Brittany radiated, and it constantly reminded me of why I love my job so much.  During the toasts, Brittany spoke of how she always dreamed of her wedding and how she read bridal magazines since she was very little.  Sometimes I forget how much pressure rides on my shoulders!  Thank you Brent & Brittany!!! The two of you are perfect for each other!!

Daniel & Brook - Long Beach

alb00.jpg

Last night, I had the honor of shooting the wedding of the most amazing couple, Daniel & Brook.  The wedding was held at the Ebell Club in Long Beach,  and it suited these two wonderfully.  Everything about the day oozed with character and style.  It was amazing to observe the amount of love these two shared between their family and their friends.  If you are ever in the need of a Tattoo,  Daniel just so happens to be an INCREDIBLE artist.  You can view his work HERE or visit him at Gold Rush Tattoo in Costa Mesa. Oh yeah, Brook was insanely beautiful (I love her style!).  I am sooooo happy that they allowed me this honor.
